Arsenal are reportedly no longer pursuing a move for Atletico Madrid star Thomas Partey with Houssem Aouar now the focus. Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is keen to strengthen his midfield in the final days of the transfer window with the deadline on Monday night. A move for Partey has been touted all summer though Lyon star Aouar is now believed to be Arteta’s top target. Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira is set to join Atletico Madrid on loan but Partey is not expected to be part of any deal.
