Matteo Guendouzi: 'I have learned a lot at Arsenal'

Matteo Guendouzi has said that he has "learned a lot" about football and himself since joining Arsenal. The 21-year-old joined the Gunners from Lorient in 2018 and has made 82 appearances for the Premier League club in all competitions, including 34 outings in all competitions last term. The midfielder left the Emirates Stadium in the final stages of the summer transfer window, though, joining Hertha Berlin on loan for the 2020-21 campaign. An altercation with Brighton & Hove Albion forward Neal Maupay back in June led to Guendouzi losing his spot in the Gunners squad, and he ended the season training away from the first team.
