Arsenal confirm Martin Odegaard transfer with loan from Real Madrid announced
Arsenal have confirmed the arrival of Martin Odegaard, with the Real Madrid youngster joining on loan. The Norwegian had been keen to leave the Bernabeu in search for first-team football with the likes of Leicester and Real Sociedad also keen. But the 22-year-old midfielder arrived in London earlier this week before completing his medical and will wear the No.11 shirt for the Gunners. Odegaard has made just nine appearances in all competitions this season, but Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was keen to sign him.
