Three things Arteta got right as Arsenal thrash Slavia Prague in Europa League

Arsenal pulled out the best performance of their season to thrash Slavia Prague 4-0 and reach the semi-finals of the Europa League on Thursday night. In the dying seconds of last week’s first leg Mikel Arteta’s men conceded a gut-wrenching away goal, with Tomas Holes’ 93rd-minute strike securing a late 1-1 draw for Slavia after Nicolas Pepe had scored what he thought was a late winner. The Gunners arrived for the second leg in Prague knowing they needed to score to go through - and it’s fair to say they had no problems on that front.
