It has been reported that Leicester City are looking to extend the contract of star man Jeffrey Schlupp. Schlupp was arguably one of the most important players in Leicester's successful battle against the drop last season and as recognition of his contribution, the defender was awarded the Young Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year awards at the club's end of season dinner. Due to his fine performances, the likes of Arsenal and Aston Villa are said to be interested in the young left-back/winger but in order to keep hold of their star man, the Foxes are in talks with Schlupp over a new contract according to reports from the Leicester Mercury.
