It has been reported that Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez is ready to move for Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny. The French international centre back is rated highly by Benitez and was linked with Real upon the Spaniard's appointment earlier this month. France Football reported that the situation is now intensifying, with Sergio Ramos demanding a transfer from Real this week. Benitez sees France international Koscielny as an ideal replacement and recommended his signing to Real president Florentino Perez.
