Arsene Wenger feels "very responsible" for injury woes of two ex-Arsenal stars

Arsene Wenger has admitted that he feels 'very responsible' for the injury woes of former Arsenal stars Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere. The midfield duo both starred under Wenger during their time at the Emirates Stadium, but were also consistently hampered by injuries that ruled them out for long periods, Wenger now feels that the introduction of VAR in recent seasons has allowed for greater protection of more technical attacking players such as Ramsey and Wilshere. Ramsey suffered a horrific leg break in March 2010 that ruled him out for seven months, while Wilshere has struggled with ankle injuries throughout his career.
