Arsenal, Liverpool To Do Battle For Monaco Defender Aymen Abdennour

It has been reported that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on AS Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour. The Mirror claims that Liverpool have added Monaco defender Abdennour to their list of targets as Brendan Rodgers' summer spree shows no signs of letting up. And the Anfield boss has now entered the race for Tunisian defender Abdennour. The £13.5m-rated 25 year-old centre-half is not short of admirers. Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham and Newcastle are among a number of European clubs interested in Abdennour who shone for Champions League quarter-finalists Monaco last season.
