Sparta Prague launch bid to take Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky back home

Sparta Prague are keen on re-signing Tomas Rosicky from Arsenal this summer. The Czech midfielder spent three years at his hometown club before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2001 and then Arsenal in 2006. Despite signing a one-year contract extension with the Gunners as recently as May, Rosicky has stated he is unhappy sitting on the bench at Emirates Stadium, hinting he still could move this summer. And Sparta majority shareholder Daniel Kretinsky insists the club would jump at the chance to take the 34-year-old back to the club where he started his career.
