Arsenal have confirmed on their official website that Lukas Podolski has agreed a deal to sign for Galatasaray. The Germany international spent three seasons on the North London club’s books but never really established himself as a week-in, week-out starter for Arsene Wenger’s men. The former Bayern Munich forward found himself as a fringe figure last term following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck, not starting a Premier League game int he first half of the campaign.
