Arsenal news: Hector Bellerin to be offered new contract

Hector Bellerin will be offered a new long-term contract by Arsenal in the coming weeks and has no intention of following the path taken by Cesc Fabregas and returning to Barcelona. Bellerin was also identified by Arsene Wenger while graduating through Barcelona’s La Masia academy and, after arriving at the club in 2011 just as Fabregas himself was returning to Catalonia, was the find of last season at right-back. The 20-year-old signed a first senior deal with Arsenal in 2013 but will now be offered an enhanced long-term contract until at least 2019.
