It has been reported that Manchester United are close to completing a deal for Barcelona attacker Pedro. AS revealed that United have set aside 24 million euros plus a further six in add-ons to bring Barcelona's Pedro to Old Trafford for the new season. An agreement could be struck in the next 48 hours. Luis Enrique admitted before the pre-season that he understands Pedro's frustration at his lack of playing time but added that he did not want the player to leave.
