Morning all… Mr Carpetright has certainly stirred up a hornets nest hasn't he but at least Arsene Wenger had a chuckle about it all during his press conference yesterday and he did of course quickly dampen any suggestions that Arsenal might blow £200 million on transfers this summer. Actually, he all but smashed the idea to pieces with a big heavy mallet! No surprise there eh and I'm glad, I'd hate us to become a club which just threw vast amounts of money around like the Dippers have done for the second summer running, or the Mancs and noisy neighbours have done in the past and Utd are doing again during this transfer window.
