Manchester City set to launch £40m bid for ex-Chelsea playmaker and Bundesliga star (Twitter)

Manchester City are poised to launch an opening bid of £40million in an attempt to land highly-rated Vfl Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne, Telegraph Sport reports. The Belgian international was back in England over the weekend as the Bundesliga outfit participated in the Emirates Cup competition alongside Arsenal, Lyon and Villarreal.
