Arsene Wenger refutes Jose Mourinho's claim that he has turned into a big spending 'chequebook manager'

Arsene Wenger has defended his Arsenal transfer policy and pointed to his record of developing players as proof the club are not attempting to buy the Premier League title. Jose Mourinho has suggested Wenger has become a chequebook manager in recent years, following the £42.5million club record signing of Mesut Ozil and the £35m purchase of Alexis Sanchez.
