Arsene Wenger has revealed that he came close to signing Eden Hazard a few years ago and was a few 'millions' away from bringing the Belgian to the Emirates Stadium, the Daily Star reports. Hazard was the outstanding player in the division last term and swooped all of the individual awards as Chelsea stormed their way to a Premier League title. Ahead of the new campaign, it looks as though Alexis Sanchez and Hazard will once again compete for the individual gongs, with no major arrival coming into the Premier League this summer.
