Arsene Wenger DEFENDS Mario Balotelli over penalty controversy
The Reds won the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie 1-0 with Balotelli proving to be the difference between the two sides. But the Italian incurred the wrath of skipper Steven Gerrard, who thought he was 'disrespectful' in taking the penalty ahead of stand-in captain Jordan Henderson.
