Arsenal lose centre-back pillars and rely on new tower of strength

Arsène Wenger started with his regular midfield and attack but an unfamiliar centre-back pairing due to the absence of both Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker. Therefore, their priority should have been about protecting the inexperienced duo of Gabriel and Calum Chambers against the physical threat of Christian Benteke.
