Arsenal open to late striker deal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger remains open to the idea of adding another striker to his first-team ranks before the close of the transfer window, and is waiting to receive encouragement before launching a move to Edinson Cavani, according to reports from the London Evening Standard. The Gunners hopes of sealing a long-awaited deal for Karim Benzema were slashed earlier this week when the player took to Twitter to declare his commitment to Real Madrid, and it’s now being suggested that Cavani of PSG is the player the Londoners want.
