Arsenal on race alert ahead of Champions League clash against Monaco

AFP/GETTY Arsenal face Arsene Wenger's former side Monaco in the Champions League Staff and police have been ordered to root out any racists after a black man was abused by English fans on a Metro station following Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with PSG in the capital Paris last week. An Arsenal spokesman warned: “We’ll take swift action if anyone is caught using offensive language. “Fans are also encouraged to report any discriminatory acts.”
