Emmanuel Petit believes Arsenal's current crop of players lack the ruthless edge of the side he played in back in the late 1990s. Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit believes the current squad lacks the killer instinct to emulate the success he enjoyed at the club. Petit, a World Cup and European Championship winner with France, achieved the Premier League and FA Cup double at Arsenal in the 1997-98 campaign. Arsenal's FA Cup triumph last season was their first trophy for nine years and, ahead of their UEFA Champions League last-16 tie with Monaco, Petit says there are a lack of "killers" within the squad.
