Tony Adams: 'Sir Alex Ferguson tried to sign me for Manchester United'

Arsenal legend Tony Adams has revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson tried to sign him twice during his time in charge of Manchester United. The former England defender spent 22 years with the Gunners, making 669 appearances and lifting 10 major trophies. Adams has said that he had the opportunity to join United but turned them down on two occasions.
