David Dein has high hopes for the new TV deal
Dein claims that the ambition of the Premier League was to put on "the best show in town" and that clubs are now reaping the benefits of the sport's global popularity.And while many have questioned the trickle down effect of the £5.1bn deal, Dein says it will enable the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United to sign players like Alexis Sanchez, Eden Hazard and Angel Di Maria.But Dein has also defended clubs against claims that they are not bringing through enough young English players, citing the Gunners' Jack Wilshere, Liverpool's Raheem Sterling and Tottenham's Harry Kane.
