Out-of-favour Arsenal star believes he proved his worth after two-goal display

Arsenal star Mathieu Flamini believes that he has proven a point following his display against Tottenham Hotspur in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday, according to reports from the Daily Star. Flamini was heavily linked with a move out of the Emirates during the summer after being seen as surplus to requirements by manager Arsene Wenger, with the likes of Galatasaray keen on his services.
