Robin van Persie: Arsenal & Man United legend planning return to former club

Seemingly upset with his current role with Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig, former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie appears poised to move back to his old stomping grounds as soon as the January transfer window comes along. According to the Metro, Van Persie plans to rejoin Feyenoord – his first club from 2001 to 2004 – on a transfer at the earliest possible time, and reportedly stated that he is unhappy riding the bench in Turkey. 'To be honest, I am not very happy at this moment,' Van Persie reportedly said. 'I was not happy that I started on the bench. I am fully fit, physically very well and able to play for 90 minutes.'
