Arsenal offered Brazilian striker in January transfer window

With Arsene Wenger's inactivity over the summer, we're still badly in need of attacking reinforcements. Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato has recently been linked with a move to North London, and has apparently been offered to us by current club Corinthians, as reported by The Evening Standard. Pato was once one of the most promising young strikers in world football, and when he made the move to AC Milan in 2007 he looked set to take Europe by storm. He was excellent initially, and was Milan's top scorer in 2008-09. But his career was marred by injuries from then onwards, and he never fully recovered.
