Champions League XI of all-English players from this season's competition (HINT: there weren't many to choose from)

If there’s ever been an alarming statistic to illustrate the gradual decline of English football, the last round of Champions League matches might retain it. Only eight English players started games in Match Day 4, with five of those coming from Manchester United and not a single Arsenal representative. To put that into some context for you, courtesy of Opta, Spain and Brazil boasted 44 and 38 starters respectively, with France and Germany not too far behind on 27 and 22.
