Arsenal target German dynamo amid injury crisis

Arsenal are ready to make Bayer Leverkusen captain Lars Bender their priority transfer target this January, report the Metro. A knee injury to Gunners anchor-man Francis Coquelin will rule the Frenchman out for up to 12 weeks. Furthermore, club captain Mikel Arteta also the subject of a recent setback, limping off in the loss to West Brom.
