Wenger praise for committed Coquelin

Arsene Wenger has praised Francis Coquelin after the midfielder played on with a broken nose yesterday. The injury occurred in an accidental collision with compatriot Olivier Giroud, and eventually he had to come off when the ball smashed his hooter nearly off his face, sending gauze packing and blood everywhere. Afterwards, the Arsenal manager said Coquelin wanted to play on having established himself in the team so recently, and praised his bravery for doing so. 'He wanted to stay on,' said Wenger.
