Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger praises his side for their improved performance against Everton following their shock defeat to Monaco in the Champions League. It was clear from the first whistle against Everton that Arsenal had been badly shaken by the events of last Wednesday night. The defeat to Monaco was unexpected, and the late strike which gave the French side their third away goal turned the brief glimmer of light from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's goal into a chasm of darkness.
