Arsenal defender injured during 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers

Arsenal could be on the verge of another defensive crisis after new centre-back star Gabriel Paulista was forced off with an injury, according to reports from the Express. The 24-year-old suffered a muscle problem during the club’s 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers, with Laurent Koscielny being forced to take his place after only 36 minutes of play. Paulista impressed at the weekend when he was handed his first start under Arsene Wenger in the 2-0 win against Everton, but despite being named in the first eleven, he could now miss the next few matches.
