Wenger confirms Gabriel blow after defender pulls up in QPR win

New signing Gabriel Paulista is set for a minimum three week absence after sustaining a hamstring injury in the 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers, Arsene Wenger confirmed. The central defender started his second match in a row, but this time alongside Per Mertesacker however he was only able to last 37 minutes after pulling up with a muscular injury and was consequently replaced by Laurent Koscielny. Wenger believes it is not a serious hamstring injury but it will certainly keep the Brazilian on the sidelines over the next few weeks.
