Defender ruled out for rest of season after injury blow

Carl Jenkinson looks set to have his second West Ham loan deal cut short after the right-back suffered cruciate ligament damage and will be out for the rest of the season, as reported by the Mirror. The 23-year-old hasn't been quite as impressive as he was last season, and has been battling for a starting spot with James Tomkins. It is still a massive blow that he's suffered such a serious injury, and will certainly impact his development.
