Arsenal boss dismisses January move for 19-goal Man United outcast

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has dismissed there being any truth in the club trying to sign Bayer Leverkusen star Javier Hernandez, according to reports from the Daily Star. Hernandez has been heavily linked with a move away from Bayer the past few months, with the Gunners and Liverpool reportedly keen on the Mexico international. The 27-year-old was seen as surplus to requirements at Manchester United last summer, but since his switch to the Bundesliga, ‘Chicharito’ has been in incredible form scoring 19 goals in just 26 games.
