It has been revealed that Stoke City are set reignite their interest in Porto's Giannelli Imbula. Reports suggest the Potters are determined to sign a defensive midfielder in the winter transfer window and are prepared to splash £14.5million on the Frenchman. Mark Hughes has showed significant interest in Imbula already this season but Stoke were put off by the fact Porto could not decide on a fee for the 23-year-old.
