Details emerge of failed Arsenal transfer attempt for London-based wonderkid

Reports have emerged of Arsenal‘s failed attempt to make a last-ditch January signing in the form of Fulham wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon. According to the Mirror, the Gunners attempted to pull through a deadline day deal to sign the youngster, only for Fulham to refuse to sell the player. The tabloid reported that the Cottagers had made contact with the north London side about the possibility of taking another wonderkid, Serge Gnabry, on loan until the season's end, while Arsenal similarly had their eye on one of their capital rivals' young stars.
