Mathieu Flamini escapes red as Arsenal ease past Bournemouth

N FC's Craig Burley says February is make-or-break for Arsenal in the title race. After three league games without scoring, two goals in 88 first half seconds were enough to give Arsenal a much-needed 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Sunday. With Arsene Wenger not yet willing to throw in Francis Coquelin from the start, he stuck with the pairing of Mathieu Flamini and Aaron Ramsey that has been far from convincing in recent weeks. Indeed, the Frenchman was lucky not to see red as early as the eighth minute, when a two-footed tackle on Dan Gosling resulted in just a yellow card from referee Kevin Friend.
