Eddie Howe says slow start cost Bournemouth in 2-0 loss to Arsenal

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe believes his side's slow start against Arsenal contributed to their 2-0 home defeat. Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored in quick succession to leave the south coast club five points above the relegation zone. "We were slow out the blocks today," he said. "That's unlike us and when you give players of their quality that time on the ball they will punish you. "The quality of the goals, especially the second one from a tight angle, made it difficult for us.
