Everton identify 25-year-old Arsenal international to solve problem position

Everton are reportedly considering a summer move for on-loan Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. According to The Sun, Tim Howard’s Goodison Park future is in doubt and the veteran American could return to the MLS at the end of the season. Howard has been Everton’s number one for nine years, but his form has dipped in recent seasons and it could be time for the Toffees to replace the 36-year-old. Joel Robles has stepped in for Howard in Everton’s last couple of games, but a more established stopper may be needed long term to protect the club’s leaky defence.
