Mesut Özil may have endured relatively patchy form in 2016, but he's still become the most creative player in Premier League history following our goalless draw against Sunderland this past Sunday (via Goal). Özil looked well on course to smash Thierry Henry's assists record earlier on this season, with the German playmaker running riot during the first half of the campaign. He's really slowed down during the second half of the season though, and looks set to fall just short of the record unless he can do something in the last few games.
