Arsenal midfielder has met with Guardiola to discuss summer move to Man City

Incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is understood to have made contact with Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta to discuss a possible summer move. According to the Daily Mail, the current Bayern Munich coach is already thinking about his backroom staff at the Etihad Stadium, having agreed to replace Manuel Pellegrini at the season's end earlier in the campaign. The tabloid suggest that Guardiola stalwarts such as Domenec Torrent, Lorenzo Buenaventura and Carles Planchart are already set to join the former Barcelona manager in Manchester, but that the head coach also wants Arteta with him at his new club in a coaching capacity.
