Japanese Rookie of the Year claims Arsenal have targeted him

Arsenal could be taking their search for their next striker to Japan if rising star Sanfrecce Hiroshima striker Takuma Asano is telling the truth. According to the Evening Standard, Asano has claimed that Arsenal are interested in bringing him to Emirates Stadium. However, the Japanese striker admitted that if he were to make a move he was uncertain of his chances of getting any significant reps with the first-team. “I was a little stunned,” Asano said. “But I feel like I have the confidence to succeed wherever I go. “If I am loaned elsewhere, my take on it is that I give it 100 percent.” The 21-year-old striker was named J.
