Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has provided an update on his ankle as he continues to recover from what looked like a gruesome injury. The 27-year-old picked up the problem in the Copa America final last month, and suffered with horrible swelling and bruising after Gabriel Mercado had stepped on his foot before he went on to play for the 90 minutes. In turn, it would have resulted in Gunners supporters being anxious over whether or not he would be fit to start the Premier League season in August, and although that is still up in the air, he is certainly making progress.
