Atletico Madrid ace wins Golden Boot, Arsenal superstar takes Bronze

France international Antoine Griezmann has won the Euro 2016 Golden Boot award after finishing the summer tournament with six goals according to the official UEFA site. The Atletico Madrid star was however, unable to add to his goal tally in the final against Portugal at the Stade de France stadium in Paris. France ended up losing the Euro 2016 final against Portugal with second half substitute Eder scoring the only goal of the game in extra time. Griezmann became the first French intentional player to win the golden boot at a European Championship since 1984 when Michel Platini won it.
