£15m Arsenal goalkeeper to be loaned out with option for sale

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny may not be coming back to Arsenal after all. According to Sun Sport, Szczesny is set to return to AS Roma on a loan spell for the 2016-17 season – only this time the Serie A giants will have an option to buy him permanently for £15 million. This past year Szczesny made 43 appearances between Roma and his native Poland, recording ten clean sheets in the process. Various off-the-field issues in the 2014-15 season led to a falling out between Szczesny and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, and he was benched for a large portion of the end of the season.
