Official: Promising Arsenal star sold after loan spell

Versatile defender/midfielder Isaac Hayden has left Arsenal after eight years with the north London club, joining Championship club Newcastle United after a reasonable loan spell with Hull City last season (via Arsenal.com) Hayden, who made two first team appearances for the Gunners in the Capital One Cup back in 2013 and 2014 as well as captained the U21 side, helped Hull City earn promotion back into the Premier League last season but managed just 24 appearances in all competitions scoring once. Despite his obvious talent, Hayden faced a very difficult task to even make the Arsenal first team squad this coming campaign let alone gain some regular minutes at a crucial part of his career....
