Chelsea & Arsenal transfer blow… Euro giants to keep star, £66.7m bid rejected

Chelsea and Arsenal’s hopes of signing Alvaro Morata this summer have been dealt a blow, with Goal reporting that Real Madrid are keen to keep the striker after rejecting an 80m (£66.7m) offer for his signature. The Spain international, who netted three goals at EURO 2016, starred for Juventus during the last two seasons, prompting Los Blancos to make use of a buy-back clause they inserted into the initial deal that took him to Italy.
