Long-term Arsenal striker target tells club he’s leaving

Long-term Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette tells Lyon he wants to leave the club, according to reports in France. The France forward has long been linked with a move to Arsenal but interest has stepped up this summer. Lacazette was also the subject of a reported bid from West Ham United but Lyon are determined to keep hold of their top scorer for the last three seasons. Lacazette was excellent in 2014-15, finishing top scorer in Ligue 1 with 27 goals. The 25 year-old however struggled to recreate that form in the first half of 2015-16. He certainly picked up in the second half and finished the season well, however that wasn’t enough for the forward to force his way into the France...
