GETTY Chuba Akpom (right) scored the winner The match looked to be heading to penalties, but three minutes from time, Akpom tapped home Nacho Monreal’s cross. The game started with a great tempo and it was Arsenal who went ahead. After bursting into the box, Joel Campbell flicked the ball over the defender before he was hauled down in the penalty area. The Costa Rican picked himself up and converted the spot kick, firing the ball low into the bottom corner. Arsenal weren’t always at their fluent best, despite shading the possession stats.
