Transfer News: Arsenal boss concerned, Chelsea ponder return, no Man Utd or Liverpool bid

Arsene Wenger has warned how Premier League clubs are being “suffocated” in the transfer market. The Arsenal manager is still looking to bring in some additions at the Emirates but is struggling to find value for money. Valencia’s Shkodran Mustafi and Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette have been chased but the Gunners have failed to agree fees, with Wenger left frustrated at the trend occurring in England. “The danger of the English situation at the moment is that the English clubs can suffocate themselves in the long term,” said Wenger. “Why?
